ARE PLEASED TO
OFFER:
The Practice of Exquisite Attunement in Dr.Yoram Kaufmann’s Approach
to the Psyche: A NEW KIND OF CARING
In his revolutionary book, The Way of the Image, Dr.
Yoram Kauffman brings us the foundation for an incredibly rich and profound
approach to the psyche. He stated that the work should be different with each
patient, based on the patient’s material, on his or her “orients” or inner
guidelines. His Orientational approach has been dubbed one of the most impactful
for therapists’ work. His clinical concept of “exquisite attunement”, concerns
seeing what was really there and using “objective knowledge” to translate the
meaning of images and profoundly alter people’s lives. Dr. Yoram Kaufmann, who
died just last year, was an extremely influential thinker, teacher and
practitioner, known to many as one of the great psychologists of our time.
Before he died, Dr. Kaufmann asked David Rottman,
his editor and publisher and an esteemed teacher in his own right, to be
responsible for disseminating his pioneering work, and David Rottman has become
a respected and popular presenter to professional groups in this mission.

Approach to clinical work leads to the controversial idea of a “correct” or
“incorrect” interpretation at every clinical moment.

point of view, including the patient's dreams of the therapist.
-
Understand how the psyche reacts to the
precision of being cared for in the clinical setting with “Exquisite
Attunement”.
