Presenter: Polly Young-Eisendrath,
PhD An internationally renowned psychologist and Jungian psychoanalyst whose work on the connections between Jungian psychology and Buddhism is particularly esteemed, Dr. Young-Eisendrath is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Vermont and Clinical Supervisor and Consultant on Leadership Development at Norwich University. She has published thirteen books translated into twenty languages, including The Resilient Spirit, Women and Desire, The Self-Esteem Trap: Raising Confident and Compassionate Kids in an Age of Self-Importance, and The Cambridge Companion to Jung (edited with Terence Dawson and available in a newly revised edition). She has also authored numerous articles and chapters. She is engaged in a full time practice in Central Vermont and is a long-time practitioner of Zen Buddhism and Vipassana.
